About Jay Bellwoar:
Mr. Bellwoar co-manages the higher education public finance group of Bank of America Merrill Lynch. Mr. Bellwoar has worked as an investment banker specializing in higher education finance since 1986. Prior to that time, Mr. Bellwoar worked as a bond lawyer at a national law firm. As an investment banker and attorney, Mr. Bellwoar has worked on the full range of tax-exempt and taxable financings serving as the senior investment banker to numerous educational institutions throughout the United States. Mr. Bellwoar graduated with a J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Law School and a B.A. from Georgetown University.

Join a panel representing three perspectives regarding financing of sustainability projects for educational institutions. Kevin Byrne, Dennis Gephardt, and Jay Bellwoar will cover many topics including: debt capacity and the credit impact of financing sustainability projects, the importance of partner choice in the financing of projects using energy services companies, the reality or myth of Green Bonds and the importance of allocating resources to non-glamourous projects such as aging infrastructure.
