TUFF Summit Sponsor Profile: The Kendeda Fund
The Kendeda Fund a private grant-making foundation based in Atlanta, Georgia. The Fund empowers communities across the US and around the globe to develop solutions that increase equity, vibrancy, resourcefulness, and resilience. The Kendeda Fund is dedicated to exploring how human beings can build a more just and equitable world, one in which we use resources wisely and relate to one another more mindfully. The Kendeda Fund has committed to investing $25 million over the next several years to privately fund 100 percent of the design and construction costs of the project as well as an additional $5 million to support programming activities. The Kendeda Fund and Georgia Tech intend for the project to become the first Living Building Challenge 3.0-certified facility of its size and function in the Southeast.
